We are not alone...
This week, a lot of things were released in the news, especially around Wikileaks, but I was not quite interested in that.
The one press release which attracted my interest was the one from NASA about the discovery of a new form of life.. The whole Internet went crazy speculating on what would the findings be, new life on Mars, Aliens on Earth, Transformers... ok not the last one.
In fact out of a lake in California a new type of Life with no connection with what is known so far is existing and reproducing using Arsenic... not a fun place to swim but definitely a proof that the bio-markers we are looking for outside of this planet are not anymore the only sign of life... a new kind of DNA has been discovered!
Too bad for the alien theory though...
